Pronoun

The word which is used instead of a noun is called a pronoun.
For example: Rabindranath was a great poet. He was born on May 17, 1861.
Here the word " He " is used as a pronoun instead of the noun "Rabindranath"
Other pronouns are: I, you, we, he, she etc.
