Ans. Besides being wise, Kalam's father was also very hard- working. He started his day at 4 a.m as usual. Then after reading the namaz , he walked to the coconut grove four miles away and returned home. He carried a dozen of coconuts on his shoulder. Only then he had his breakfast.
Kalam's father followed the routine even in his late sixties.
Kalam acknowledged that throughout his life he had tried to emulate his father in his own world of science and technology. He tried to understand the fundamental truths that were revealed by his father. Despite being a scientist, he felt convinced about the existence of a divine power.
